FEEDBACK FROM THE MUSICIANS
Some of the musicians featured in the portraits provided feedback on the “Keep Rockin'” series:
Wolfgang Niedecken (BAP)
I received a wonderful thank-you postcard from Wolfgang Niedecken:
I associate special moments in my life with Wolfgang Niedecken and BAP. The BAP concert on October 7, 1982, in Giessen was the very first rock concert I ever attended, when I was 16.
Wolfgang Niedecken’s lyrics speak to me on a very deep level, and with his honest yet empathetic and kind nature, he is someone I admire and look up to. That makes his personal postcard all the more special and moving to me.
Mick Box (Uriah Heep)
Via a former coworker and her friends, a print of the “Keep Rockin’” portrait of Mick Box found its way to the Uriah Heep guitarist even before the illustrated book was published. I was then surprised to hear that he was very impressed by it. Here’s Mick’s feedback:
Ian Anderson (Jethro Tull)
In May 2026, I received an email from Ian Anderson in which he thanked me for his copy of the *Keep Rockin'* illustrated book (“it was much appreciated”).
